I was about 5,000 posts ahead of anyone else and now I'm at least 5,000 behind the leader and probably not even in the top five anymore. My latest sin is volunteer work and I spend too much time on that. Trading one addictive but fun sin for another one.

I did notice you've been averaging about 11.5 posts per day since 2005 and you'll probably pass me on the ladder before the end of 2012 at that pace.

Good luck with controlling your addictions!!!

I was actually trending towards being the post leader about a year ago, then Resolute decided he was going to spam up the forum, plus I didn't post for the longest time.

I figure with the US campaign heating up and election a year away, I'll probably move back into top 5 again, although the GT seems to be inflating post count for a lot of people.

I'm not sure if I would call it an addition. I check in to keep up to date with the latest on the Flames and in other parts of the world, and when something happens, like the earthquake in Japan or various other serious incidents around the world, I specifically check in to see what certain people have to say. Reading the news gives you one piece of the puzzle, but reading a wide variety of opinions fills everything else in.

I'm also of the opinion that if you don't challenge your viewpoint the world will pass you by. I certainly don't think like I did roughly 10 years ago when I actually began posting on here under a different username. CP has had a big part in defining the way I look at things. Good or bad.

I suppose if I added my post count together from a previous username with the current one, I would probably be at the top.
