To me there are another good one loss teams, but Bama has a stronger case for the number 2 slot than they do. OSU is the only one close, and their loss was to way too weak of an opponent for me to give them the edge. I don't care that it was on the road (and don't give me the women's basketball coaches excuse, I guarantee you most of that team had never even met them, let alone knew them well enough to be so thrown off that they couldn't perform), they were playing a team that is going to a bowl game in Yankee stadium and lost.
