Born and raised in Forest Lawn. Still here, got a couple rental properties close by and have never had any problems except for one garage break-in.

I would never even consider moving to the newer developments or really anywhere else in the city. My backyard takes up half a block literally. You could fit 6 of the newer homes on the lot my 1200 sq ft house is on. I feel at home here and I just could not imagine my house being 3 feet from my neighbors.

People who live in Forest Lawn are not forced to live here, but they live here because it's a great neighborhood. I know several people who make enough money to live anywhere they want in the city but decide to live in Forest Lawn because it's a great place to live.

The point of my post is Forest Lawn is not as bad as people make it out to be, and you probably know this as well from living here.
