One guy I am watching pretty closely is McNeil. There was a big camp picking him as the player the Flames should have drafted. He ended up going 18 overall and Baertschi is blowing him out of the water this season.
McNeil only has 22 points in 27 games and is a minus 7.
So far so good in that draft choice.

I think people were just salivating over a centreman prospect who was tough as nails. As far as talent and offensive ability goes he is nowhere close to Bartschi.
Another player that people were all over was Joel Armia, who has been crapping all over the SM-Liiga. He just started picking it up the last 2 or 3 games, but yikes is a train wreck early
