I think a plus one is the perfect system. We get to discover if Ok State is a great team who had a bad day against ISU or is just overhyped. We get to find out if Bama can hang with Oregon etc. etc. Play that round of games and I'd say that most years you'll have 2 teams that have clearly made their case.

How does the plus one work? They put 4v1 2v3 in bowls? Seems like picking the top 4 would be a nightmare this year. Does Alabama get in over other one loss teams that won their conference? 2 loss Oregon gets in ahead of one loss Stanford? How do you pick between VT, Oregon,Stanford and Ok State?
