First of all the cost of enough of that meat to make a burger would be somewhat more than a couple of bucks. Second, I am skeptical as to whether you've had a really, really good burger. I've made some pretty damned solid ones myself, but some places have it absolutely mastered.
That being said the best burger I have ever eaten was 12.95 with fries... but I'll pay 20 bucks for another in its league.
