What I'm going to say may be offensive to some but I mean it in the least offensive way possible. It's a good thing that all of these mining accidents are occuring and becoming public because it is finally going to force these companies to straighten up their saftey regulations and how much funding they put towards their on site emergency equipment. Both my father and grandfather when they came over to Canada started off in the Mines and they have horror stories that would bring a chill down your spine and this isn't like these horrible breaches of workers rights and safety is occuring in a third world country it happened and is happening across Canada. It's time for someone to force these mines to put an end to the garbage they force their workers to put up with.
