I got the "Recertified" Seagate Pipeline HD ST3500312CS 500GB from Newegg a month or so ago. I paid about $50 for it and am keeping it for when the hard drive in my 9242 dies. Right now hard drives are way over priced so you may be better off swapping in the hard drive from an old 9200 or paying the $150 to Bell.

Used 9242s aren't cheap but can be found on ebay, kiji etc.
