Agree about Tim Hortons tea, and Mr. Wendys. Never really cared one way or another about the Mazda ones.
The whole Herbal Essences faux orgasm campaign is really dumb.
A Marca Bavaria--you just know that in Brazil, this has been branded as an authentic German beer--you can tell by the name. And now, here in Canada, it's marketed as being an authentic latin-american beer. So which is it? (A crappy combination of the two.) If you want to have a Brazillian beer that you want to market as being sexy and latin, change the name to A Marca Brazillia or something. Anyway, I don't object to the commercials as such, just that it's such an overall crappily conceived campaign idea. I list this commercial because any time I see it, I go into the above rant.
The diet coke commercial with the woman who has a tear in her pantyhose. Jeez, who goes to a high-powered board meeting with a can of diet coke? I'm firmly in the 'coke' camp, but when it comes to marketing campaigns, diet pepsi (with the 'is there anything else youthful you'd like to experience' ads) are way ahead of diet coke. The new 'C2' ads suck, too.
