That's one thing that has impressed me about LSU this season. Sure, they played Northwestern State and Western Kentucky, but they didn't have to schedule Oregon at a neutral site. They didn't have to schedule a home at home with West Virginia back when they were a top 10 squad. They will have played 8 games against teams that were ranked in the AP Top 25 at game time.
They went into this season planning on making a run at the title, and if they win out, there is no debate who is the best team in the nation.
