There's also the fact that LSU beat Alabama on the road. Why should Bama get a second chance when they already had the advantage of being at home? At least when Oregon lost they were essentially on a road game. Losing the first game of the season compared to the end of the season should count for something too - DeAnthony Thomas isn't going to hand LSU two TDs I'd imagine.
It's kind of funny that Boise St. managed to lose in the one season where they actually had a legitimate chance of playing for the title.

I don't care if bama vs LSU is a rematch or not. No one can honestly say that those aren't the two best teams in the country. as for WPDucksFan who said "well if it wasn't for two fumbles oregon would of won" if Bama had a kicker they would of beat LSU at home. Bama lost to LSU by a FG in OT... I would be willing to bet that the next game wouldn't a 9-6 game either.
