Boy, I'm going to disagree there. That september collapse was one for the ages and then when it comes out pitchers were drinking during the game on off-days (nm looking how fat they've become). I think that really hurts his stock, I think he would have been a lock for a team like STL otherwise. He will certainly get another chance, but he may not be the lock he would have been before last seasons debacle.

agree with you that it was a terrible collapse
but I think it's more of a case of a guy who is known as a players manager just being tuned out after so many years
it's not like he forgot how to manage
