That's it. After ten years of waiting, the Republic of Ireland have qualified for a major international competition - the crowd are in raptures, the celebrations are raucous and joyful. Stephen Ward opened the scoring tonight, before Konstantin Vassiljev cancelled it out with a long-range shot, but at the end of the day the damage was done by that magnificent four goal win in Tallinn.
Robbie Keane, Republic of Ireland captain: "It’s a great night for everyone, for the players and the fans – a night that we’ll never forget. The team spirit has got us through this campaign, and full credit to everyone in this group. This is what football is all about, moments like this."
