I took it out early last week to make burgers but only ended up using about half of the bag. I left the rest in the fridge and went to use it last night. It smelled awful.. like rotten eggs. I figured it wuold last longer than that in the fridge, but maybe the freezing, thawing, and then sitting in the fridge had something to do with it.

i'm not sure if there is any 'rule' for thawed ground beef.... but i was always told to use all of it right away
