Better episode last night – they are finally developing some interesting long term conflicts that aren’t just black and white and make you wonder who is making the best choices. I wish they would demonize Shane’s standpoint of pure rationality regarding survival a bit less, I find myself agreeing with a lot of what he says, and really makes me wonder what I would do in the same situation.
Random thoughts:
At this point the storyline with the little girl has flat lined entirely, I don’t even care if they find her dead or alive I just want things to start progressing.
I really hope the reason for keeping the zombies in the barn is a sinister one. The best plot angle in a zombie apocalypse story is when the biggest threat isn’t the dead but the people who are still living – ala 28 Days Later.
So I guess with his brother representing his internal conflict Daryl is going to start to turn his back on, and eventually do harm to the group? I like it.
