Ottawa-Sens GM Walsh called a late afternoon press conference to announce that the Sens have acquired star forward Vincent Lecavalier from the Carolina Hurricanes.

However, the acquisition of Lecavalier was very costly. The Canes receive the Sens top prospect Sean Couturier, the Sens first round pick and AHL tender Linden Rowat.

Honestly, I didn't want to give up that much youth but I am making a run at it all right now.
