Thats fine and everything, but that shouldn't prevent the city from writing as many nit picking bylaw enforcement tickets as possible.
And I challenge the analysis in a way. They have a constitutional right to gather and protest, but they don't have a constitutional right to camp overnight.
To an extent I admire the fact that the city is allowing them to stay there at our sufferage, but where the city failed was that they didn't start to enforce bylaws until way after the fact.
