If they don't, they know the owners are going to come back with a worse offer, so the players can only be planning on going the decertification route, and we can look forward to a long parade of this whole thing into various courtrooms. I don't think the NBA has ever had parity ever in it's history.
And why would it start now, it's starved for ratings and it's peak in popularity was when the Bulls won 6 championships.
