I'll conceed he was retired but not long retired. I would surmise that most child rapists don't wait until they are retired to begin their pedophila. I think the school officials probably had this line of thinking as well.

The fact is he wasn't a coach when these allegations surfaced. Whether or not he was coaching when he committed the acts is another story altogether.
