I dunno about long retired. He retired in 1999. He allegedly anally raped a ten year old boy in 2002 in the lockerroom shower.
I'll conceed he was retired but not long retired. I would surmise that most child rapists don't wait until they are retired to begin their pedophila. I think the school officials probably had this line of thinking as well.
