Who knows how many children's lives he could have saved from being ruined by stepping up to the plate and reporting the incident to the police? The innocence of a child is more important than whether or not a person gets to eventually be employed in their dream job.

Paterno - As bad as the Catholic Church when high ranking officials covered up the sexual assault of many, many children for whatever reason they chose to justify their actions. He is even more guilty than McQueary because he was the man at the top of the totem pole and he chose to protect his friend and football program instead of protecting children. Reporting the incident to the director of the athletic department? Come on, this is not a question of internal protocol. There would be nowhere in the world where the rape of children is considered a judgement call. I hope he swings for his role in the coverup.

Sandusky - A truly horrible person if the allegations are true. How sick is he? He gets involved with children's charities so that he has an avenue for exploiting and raping children? I hope he is accidentally released into general population if convicted.

The University officials - They should be convicted as accomplices after the fact by trying to cover up both the reported incident as well as the fact that they employed an alleged child rapist as a member of their football team's coaching staff. If they are ever released I hope they are never able to gain any sort of meaningful employment again. They put their own interests ahead of the innocence of children. They are not fit to be involved in society.
I largely agree, just wanted to note that Sandusky was long retired from coaching when these allegations surfaced.
