Adobe is only focusing on HTML5 because all the big players effectively said they weren't going to allow flash anymore. Apple with Job's bullying stubbornness a few years ago and now Microsoft who won't support plugins in their future mobile operating systems.

Adobe is getting exactly what it deserves. All of the big players are sick of an insecure, unstable, inefficient plug in crashing their browsers and causing them to have to provide it's users with security patches. Even with Google's support, they couldn't get it working well on Android tablets. It's crap and I have two Flash sites out there. Posterity fine, but lets move forward.
