I think the issue is that the underlying message of environmental concern is being turned into an extremist 'end all oil production' mantra. A rationale message is being co-opted by those at the fringes. That's the entire issue with this protest, they claim to be the voice of the 99% but the only voices being heard are those of the extremist elements. I'm part of the 99% and these people sure as hell don't speak for me.
