If you signed up with that expectation you are going to be disappointed. TWD is a human story in post a post apocalyptic world. The title is not about the zombies but about the men and women still alive; the walking dead.

However, the creator writes in a way that there is always a calm before the storm and there are hints in the show that leads us to the next conflict. It's coming and it will be a life changer.
