I've had Anonymous on my twitter feed ever since lulzsec was making daily headlines with their hacks around the globe, as I was interested in reading up on them. (Please, lets not derail this thread about the hacks, lulzsec, etc). It's been my experience that Anonymous (or AnonyOps, more commonly) has only called for doxing on occupy police after incidents of excessive force have been caught/revealed/etc. It wasn't until much news and fanfare about the pepper spray incident in NYC, that the call for doxing went out. Now, I'm not saying this is the only source where doxing requests came from, but the article only references anonymous and so that is where my perspective is coming from.
