(a) it's completely accurate, and
(b) these dogs put their lives on the line every bit as much as any human officer and deserve recognition for that, as the officers themselves clearly recognize.

I don't dispute the accuracy of your title, nor do I wish to contest the good work that police dogs do in aid of law enforcement. I am however only expressing
my opinion that human lives are more valuable than animals', therefore I found your title to this thread a bit dramatic as it kinda gave me a heart attack before I read the article. It is only my opinion but I'm sure there will be others who agree with me as with you.
