When I started to article the partners and senior managers drove Aleros and Grand AMs, similar to what us first and second years were driving. They wanted to convey the image that the firm wasn't billing out enough and that they couldn't afford nice things.
When I moved back to Calgary after eight months, the partners all drove Porsches, Range Rovers and BMWs. It was quite the contrast.
