I'm 27
It's tough to make $90,000 a year.
I think that for starters, in most cases you need a practical undegraduate university / college education, drive & ambition, connections, and a bit of luck.

I entered the workforce straight out of University with a BComm (Marketing) & useless BA(Poli Sci) and made $50,000 a year as a Project Coordinator for a land developer. By my second year I got a raise, and with bonuses I was up to $75,000 a year.

Then I got into Real Estate sales......Made crappy money my first year as a Realtor. Now into my second year. I will hit 6 figures, but I have had to work extremely hard, work 7 days a week, and only had 7 days off this year. My quality of life has probably gone down. If I didnt enjoy what I do, the money would be hardly worth the time.
