I'm in my second year of Civil Engineering and don't really know what to expect through my 20s. I hear a lot of things from different people. One of my buddies said he hears that there are not a lot jobs for engineers, yet other say that jobs are abundant, and you just need to a put a lot of effort into finding one (which a lot of people don't do, apparently).
Obviously, I would like to make a lot of money, but I think about $60-70k in my late 20s would be alright and certainly attainable. I don't know what to expect, and I'm not trying to be too unrealistic.
