Love your debate about ferrari's, but why are you focused on 0-60 and 1/4 mile. The 308 was all sports car, but rode on 14" balloon tires and can't hold a candle to any ferrari in the last 15 years. The 288GTO, my favorite of all time, was the predesesor to the F40, F50, and now Enzo. Even the basest model Ferrari in this years line up could kick it's ass in every category that defines a sports car.
Heck the Camaro's of that day were huffing and puffing for a mind boggling 135 or so hp's, but todays has 422. times change but they are all still very much sports cars.
