I've always had travel medical insurance, however one of my family members is having a hard time getting insurance because of a pre-existing condition. Medically travel has been cleared with no concerns.

I'm trying to figure out how much alberta health care really covers when traveling. So far the vague definition is up to the maximum that we would pay for such services. In a worst case scenario how much could an albertian be out of pocket traveling with just alberta health care?

Anyone with experiance here?
