There is no need to get your panties in a bunch because I called the 'bolts' arrows. I have maybe shot a handful or arrows in my life, none from a crossbow. Sorry that I'm not a manly man like you who knows so much about them that he feels the need to go on and on about specifications of 'bolts'. It is a fictional TV show, and you are ranting about how unlikely it is that a crossbow bolt would be so durable. Seriously?
I disagree, a crossbow a pistol are a fine combo if you are not looking to go on a zombie killing spree. I guarantee I can sneak around better than you can trying to blaze a bloody trail down the middle. Your automatic weapons and rocket launchers won't keep you safe for very long.
It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight with a ###### who can't fire his gun. Sure if I run into you and you have a machine gun and I have a crossbow then you are probably going to win...If you are a dumb zombie and I have baseball bat, I'm probably going to win.
You might always be in harms way, but there are ways to minimize that. Running around and shooting your gun off like a drunk American on the 4th of July is not the way to do it.
See who lasts longer, the guy with a crossbow and 9mm hand gun sneaking around or the dummy running around like he is in a call of duty game firing at will.
