I mentioned all of this in my post, I don't know why you're repeating it.
Second, he does not retrieve all his bolts as evidenced by shooting the hanging zombie in the head and walking away.
Also, he's not using depleted uranium 'crossbow arrows'. I don't know how many arrows you've shot, but even the thick diameter of crossbow bolts break down after a few shots, and I'm talking about the elements of the bolt designed to withstand repeated use. The fletchings are a totally different animal and would likely require regular repair once he ran out of bolts (assuming his crossbow is equipped to also shoot arrows).
My point is that is it a completely and utterly antiquated weapon. It obviously has it's uses, but as a primary weapon with a pistol secondary, you're hooped.
I also don't see why pointing that out is ridiculous. It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
