The idea that anyone cares about a group of people protesting "something but not sure what" and that anyone else would care about it has absolutely nothing to do with the idea of a "free republic/democracy" being dead.
What's dead...is the non-message these folks are trying to get out. Now it's no more than a sideshow of news clips to see who says the next moronic thing and which city's cops go overboard trying to disperse them.
No idea what you are trying to convey in your post...but the very fact these disenfranchised souls are allowed to gather and protest nothing tangible, shows quite succinctly that democracy and/or a free republic is quite alive and well.
And i have no idea what "my" job is in all this....beyond finding amusement in the whole charade.
