How the Canadian teams are performing at the end of October:
1. Edmonton (7-2-2)
2. Toronto (7-3-1)
3. Ottawa (7-5-0)
4. Vancouver (5-5-1)
5. Montreal (4-5-2)
6. Calgary (4-4-1)
7. Winnipeg (3-6-1)
Looks like Edmonton may be the real deal this year. Toronto has indeed surprised me, although I am not convinced they can keep up this pace for 82 games. Things look good in the nation's capital. The Canucks and Habs are off to slow starts. The Jets need improvement.
