I don't think it's a toilet at all. Sure it has some design issues but overall since the drug trade has been cleaned up and they've done simple things like put a bunch of free-standing cafe tables and chairs and flowers under the purgola it's actually a very pleasant place to hang out. Throughout the summer I had usually 2-3 meetings a week, with my insomnia coffee, outside in the plaza. Lots of people hanging out having lunch and enjoying some of the shows that are put on. Maybe you haven't been there for a while?
