I get why the City/Police don't want to go in and start busting skulls. But why are they not writing tickets? When is Olympic Plaza suppose to be vacant each night? 11:00pm?
So why are the police not rolling in at 11:15 and writing up a ticket to every single camper, then coming back an hour later an doing it again, and basically giving the squatters a trespassing ticket for each and every hour between 11:00pm & 6:00am?
Is it a charter right to pick & choose which laws you want to obey? Because I'd really prefer to spend my $90 on dinner with the wife rather than a transit pass next month. If I get busted for not paying the fair can I pull out a copy of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and continue on with my day?
Cuz that would actually be pretty sweet.
