Yeah that is the problem (in our case, beauty) with open online polls, which don't require school ID for example, being very sensitive to bias. Technically, without any interference (thanks M Ha), the only people voting would be from the school, or the family members, or on rare occasions random people stumbling on the website.
It also tells us in general why it is a bad idea to use polls conducted on websites as evidence for any research, casual or academic, because they are not controlled and free of bias.
Okay that's enough serious talk!
