The Soviet Red Army launched a major offensive overnight that briefly pushed into our lines despite a valliant effort by the 103rd Nightime Brigade. The 107th Office Workers Airborne relieved the pressure by mid morning while new recruits have arrived throughout the day, allowing us to make additional gains.

An enemy agent arrived with demotivational propaganda that served only to strengthen our resolve. At the same time, we discovered that enemy spies sought an alliance with our hated neighbours to the north and west, but were rebuffed. The Commander-in-Chief put out our call for more volunteers in late afternoon. We are now shoring up our defences for the expected counter-attack that could begin at any time. So remain vigilant, soldier!
