Not sure how Burris forced the defense to give up stupid penalties on the final drive against BC or how he forced the defense to leave Simon wide open on third down of that same game.
People are welcome to criticize Burris for his play but to make up crap about his demeanor on the sideline and blame him for the team "imploding" in a game thread in which he didn't even play illustrates the amount of BS criticism that he has taken this year.

I can sympathize with this viewpoint. Burris was last years MOP, and has done wonders in a Stamps uniform over the years and heck even earlier this season. As a person he deserves better than to simply get gleefully run out of town at the first hint that the Stamps might not be screwed at the QB position without him.
That's my rational brain thinking. That said it was kind of funny in the stands last Friday night because deep down I found myself hoping that Tate not only performed good enough for the win but also performed good enough to keep on starting. For all the 400 yard passing games and blowout wins in the summer and regular season, I always remember the turnovers in the playoffs and missed opportunities. Ultimately as a fan of the team who hopes for post-season sucess I would rather watch a gritty 9-9 team open up on the road in the Western Semi-final than a choke prone 13-5 team host the Western Final.
