Nobody really knows how they would react. It depends how big of a "star" you are as well. I was in Las Vegas with my wife a few years ago and got within 5 feet of Michael Jackson when he was shopping with his daughter.
I think it was when he was shooting that doc I was in the Mirage and he rented the whole top floor of that hotel.
I said I never would follow a celebrity, but I kept following him until I got a handshake. His hands were huge lol.
Nobody let them shop. cameras galore.
He couldn't walk an inch without people surrounding him, taking pictures, etc.
Guy was weird in the last part of his life, but seemed very friendly to everybody.
