City officials signalled Thursday that Occupy Calgary protesters will have to decamp from Olympic Plaza in the next week.
Police and city officials have so far been reluctant to confront protesters for erecting a dozen or so tents in the downtown park last week in violation of city bylaws.
But on Thursday, officials said that a booking on Oct. 29 for a city faith-based group will require that protesters vacate the property two days earlier so that a cleanup of the plaza can be completed
