He's probably going to be looking for employment in the offseason. I feel bad for him because this was the first time in his career he got to start in the same offense two years in a row and he was the perfect QB for the team in that he is a very good manager not an old gunslinger that carelessly tosses the ball around. You don't need that type of guy when you have one of the best running backs in the league and the best running game.
It's pretty obvious that Hue has had a mancrush on Palmer since their days working together so with Davis out of the picture it was a matter of giving up whatever the Bengals wanted so Hue could get his guy. Campbell was Davis's guy and if he really wanted Palmer he would have made this deal in the offseason as the Bengals would have surely accepted the deal then as nobody envisioned Palmer getting back more than a 1st round pick at the most. This is the reason you don't let coaches be GM's as the coach is looking only at this season.
It's going to be just like old times for Hue, Chuck, and Carson. Palmer throwing for 300 yards and the Raiders still losing because Bresnahan's crappy defense gives up over 400 yards/game just like when they worked together in Cincinnatti with no draft picks to upgrade the porous defense in the near future. And that's
'if' Palmer can return to his Pro-Bowl days.
