I don't know, I suppose it is what you make of it. I'd rather use my phone as little as possible, and speaking to it in complete sentences to quickly get information I want seems counter-productive to that goal.

You're right, I did misunderstand however it doesn't take 1 second to turn on your iPhone, swipe to open it, enter a 4 digit passcode and then swipe down to get the notification section (or activate the app). As mentioned before weather is a unique example as it's something Apple has brought to the top layer of the notification section. It's probably the only thing siri does that doesn't result in a savings of time. I don't know what else to say here...
