Tomorrow morning at approximately 7:57am they will be imploding the big Ogden Grain Elevator on 15th street SE.
There will be multiple road closures (including north and southbound Deerfoot for 5-10 minutes) as this happens.
Could make for some pretty cool pictures if the sky lightens up in time. Here is the Herald article on it:

It's a Calgary landmark, a nearly century-old building praised overseas as a model of innovative industrial architecture.
But the clock is ticking - and by Sunday morning, hundreds of small explosions will reduce the historic Ogden Federal Elevator in Bonnybrook to dust and rubble.
It marks the end of an era for the grain terminal, one of the earliest concrete structures of its kind built in the Prairies.
For safety reasons, several roads and intersections around the site will briefly close at 7: 57 a.m., during the blasting period, including sections of northbound and southbound Deerfoot Trail, at Glenmore Trail and Peigan Trail respectively.
Police plan to shut down all lanes at 42nd Avenue and 15th Avenue S.E., as well as eastbound and westbound lanes of 46th Avenue at 13th Street S.E. The closings - expected to last between seven and 10 minutes - will also include westbound 50th Avenue S.E. and eastbound 50th Avenue at Ogden Road S.E.
