Basically, you have to send them a few samples of your work etc and they grant you approval to be a contributor. Then you basically submit whatever you want, but they do have some recommendations for what they're looking for and what they're not.

Example: They're not looking for a random hub cap etc.

Instead, things like cyber crime. So take a photo of a laptop with a pair of handcuffs etc.

You then upload it and if someone buys it / downloads it, you get a % of that.

But I think there's some pretty stringent regulations with model releases if you have people in the photos.

This is all from what I've gathered reading their online stuff. I'll report back with more once I submit my application. Lots of Calgary people on there, submitting skyline photos, people, c-trains etc.
