The Atlanta Thrashers are happy to announce that deal has been struck with the Colorado Avalanche to bring Jeff Friesen to Georgia.

Going to Colorado is Freddy Modin and ex Hitman Andrew Ladd.

The deal was tough to make as Ladd will be a great player...eventually, however the Thrash enabled two things that were needed...more cap room and a player with great speed and finishing tools.

We wish Freddy well in the mountains of Colorado!
