I also don't see the Glenmore construction as having a huge impact on traffic; certainly not as bad as the Calf Robe project. I went to their open house ~2 years ago, and pretty much what they are doing is building another bridge beside the current one. The provincial trasportation dude was on the hot seat, and I was impressed with a lot of his answers to questions. The big question- why not do Anderson/Bow Bottom (ABB) first?

There were a few reasons; a lot had to do with getting Glenmore ready to handle more traffic from the 3/4 ring road. It also had to do with cost- ABB is going to cost a LOT more to fix. He didn't like my answer to ABB- no access from Southland onto SB Deerfoot.
