Huh? Assuming the liability for the Teachers portion of the pension was an actionable offence exactly how? Maybe they could have sued the government for their own agreed to portion, but lapping up the other half was just a 2 billion dollar payoff that Stelmach made.
Public unions are the only ones still sucking on the teat of defined benefit plans. It's really outrageous but they'd strike forever if anyone ever tried to make them join the rest of the working world.
