Pretty crazy that the company that brought capacitive touch to mainstream use is now re-imagining how we control personal computing devices with intelligent voice controls.

One tech blogger said it will be the feature you never use after a week, but I could just as easily see it going the other way: the essential feature you can't live without.

We'll see if the tech has caught up to the idea yet, but I could easily see intelligent voice controls fundamentally changing how we think about the relationship between man and machine.

Apple is a company that makes big bets on tech. Firewire didn't really pan out but multi touch really paid off for them. We'll have to wait and see how voice works out.
